David is in his 7th year at the Technological University of El Salvador,studying Industrial Engineering, and he is about to finish his course work. David consider himself as a very blessed person for having the opportunity to study in university, and being part of the scholarship program. One of David’s goals is to be able to find a job in his field of study to support his family, especially his sisters, so they can pursue an education as well. David is a very active young man in his community, as he participates in different projects. He is currently working in a project with children, where he teaches children values and also, how to elaborate creative handicrafts. David lives with his parents and four sisters. One of David’s greatest obstacles has been his family’s economic situation, as he had to suspend his studies for a while, because he had limited resources to continue in university.  However he decided to get a job to have an extra income in order to continue his education. He is a very determined young man.
